Ketogenic Diet

Today was a great day, had a good day at work, and after work it got even better! My mom took me shopping to get food for a new diet that a lot of my family members are trying out. The diet is strictly no carbs and no sugar. The majority of what you eat consists of fat, fiber, and protein. Don't eat fruits unless they are berries. You can eat as many vegetables without carbs that you want, stay away from root vegetables. My mom, brother, and sister in law have praised the diet for feeling better, losing weight, and getting their mind back. I am very excited about this because, as many of you who know me know, it is hard for be to be all there at times. This is a list of the things that I bought for this diet for those who want to try out the yummy goodness it contains.

Truvia - for sweetness
Stevia - for more sweetness
Walnuts - you can eat any kinds of nuts
Acorn Squash
Spaghetti Squash
Avacado
Extra Virgin Olive Oil - YES you can fry stuff!
Coconut Oil - for higher temperature frying
Coconut Flour - for baking goodness
Strawberries
Blueberries
Rasberries
Sea Salt
Coffee
Cheese
String Cheese
Heavy Whipping Cream - great in coffee
Cottage Cheese
Pure Yogurt
Ground Beef
Spaghetti Sauce - great with the s squash
Eggs
Onions
Vegetable Based Dips
Peanut Butter - stay away from the sugar added brands, eat this sparingly
Celery
Cherry Tomatoes - not normal tomatoes and eat these sparingly too

The People Problem

Over the past week in my job I have found it increasingly difficult dealing with customers. I've found my self thinking thoughts like "I really wish I didn't have to put up with this customer.", without really understanding what they were dealing with. I was forgetting what I had posted on here before. I am aware, I am listening, I am comprehending. If I were to have a better understanding of what was going on in their heads, I would have been able to find the real problems and easily resolved them. What I have been doing is wrong and I wish to change that behavior and start treating customers more as human beings than "problems".
